SCD-1 mod in NYC area?

Is there a professional technician in the New York City area who can do the Audiocom mod on the Sony SCD-1?

I've been in contact with him, and the reviews of his mod in this forum are impressive, but I'm just wondering if there is someone local who can install the parts so I don't have to ship this heavy thing across the country.
