Saturn R CD/DAC player -- problem downloading Rega USB driver

About a year & a half ago I purchased the Saturn R.  I downloaded the USB driver & connected the unit to my audio system & PC (later to a NAS setup).  Everything went well.  I could play CDs & music files stored on the PC, as well as stream from the internet (which I do little of).  Then, about 2 weeks ago, something happened (perhaps related to the installation of a new PC) that caused me to lose the USB driver connection.  Since then I have been trying unsuccessfully to reconnect the driver.  Each time, when I check the Device Manager on the PC, instead of the driver appearing under "Sound, video & game controllers," it appears under a newly created category, "Other devices."  It is named "XMOS USB Audio 2.0" (which I believe is correct) & has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point attached.  Looking at "Properties," reveals a device status error:  "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)  There are no compatible drivers for this device.  To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."  When I click Update Driver & search Internet & PC, none are found.  Any suggestions, please.

You've probably already done this, but just to be sure have you tried re-installing the driver using a recent download from the Rega site?  The relevant link appears to be as follows:

http://www.rega.co.uk/uploads/documents/xmos-stereo-usb-audio-class2-driver-2022(v2.15).zip

Once downloaded, you would have to extract the .exe file that is contained within the .zip (which can be done with the Windows file manager), and then run the .exe file.
