Salif Keita

Just sitting here enjoying Salif's "Moffou" and thought I'd put out the recommendation those World Music inclined people on Agon. It's well recorded..probably in Europe...very dynamic...plenty of that high end sparkle that really shows off tubes. It's a studio album so it's not live and it's obviously miked as a studio album on a multi track mixer. But as far as really showing what a high end system can do it may be the best album i have in my collection. But it has a nice mix of laid back acoustic tunes and more up tempo music. Very pretty.

Any other Salif or related albums would be appreciated.

Its all in Bambara so if that bugs you not to be able to understand it..fyi.
