Run Shunyata cords into non-Hydra PLC's?

I've got a couple of Shunyata PC's on order (a Copperhead
for my Levinson 360S and a Taipan VX for my SCD-1). I'll
be running them into my BPT line conditioner (BPT 2 with
mods). Wonder if there is any downside to not using a Hydra
with the Shunyata cords? My other cords are Synergistic
Master Couplers and one Reference Master Coupler.
