RP-1 vs Quad Artera

Quad Artera Pre over on USAudiomart I am considering.  Currently running a Rogue RP-1 with Mullards fronting a  Quard Artera Power Amp.  Really like the RP-1 but was wondering if I might enjoy the possible synergy twix the Quad pairing.   Plus the Quad has XLR and the RP-1 does not.  Source is Vinyl/Digital Stream.

I could just go ahead and pull the trigger on the Quad and A/B them but thought I would check here for some Pre-insight.
