Rowland Model 7's vs. Classe CA 400
To any fellow Agoners who have any experience with these two amplifiers, please let me know what your opinions are of them as in a comparison between the two.
Associated gear would be a Herron VTSP-2 preamp, and some frankensteined Reimer Tetons (all that's stock is the cabinets and tweeters) that are very current hungry, 4 ohm speakers. CDP is a VSE Level 7 w/Lite clock modded Sony 777ES. Currently using Herron M-150's and love their musicality (and synergy with the Herron preamp) but they are lacking in the grunt department. TIA.
