Thanks for the prompt feedback. You may be right my associated equipment may not be up to the task (see below) but when my current BAT Vk500 is in the system it does not have the upper midrange glare the Rowland Model 10 currently has.
Are you fimilar with the breakin curve of the Model 10 Amp?

P.S. In my system, the Bat took between 200-300 hrs to breakin
P.P.S. I wouldn't be making these amp changes if my Rowland Model 5 hadn't died three times 2 years ago.
