Rotel RB1050 vs. RB971

Hello all,
      I am building my home stereo and would like some input on the amp I buy. Currently, I have a Rotel RC995 pre-amp and a pair of Vienna Acoustic Bach speakers. My price range is showing me a lot of Rotel RB1050s and RB971s. Do people have an opinion as to which is better? I assume both were made in China (though I happened to find a RC995 from Japan). 
      Any advice would be appreciated.
