Room Correction - The Smirnov / Microsoft Slide Deck

I’ve been going through my slides for entirely non-music or audio related issues but came across a slide deck from 2008 talking about the challenges in room correction, and at least one team’s systematic approach.
Thought I would share. I haven’t really evaluated or tried it out, much of it is above my head, but for the mathematically and theoretically inclined, I drop the link below:
