The Perseus Magnum is a major improvement. It shares the same Caps and wiring as the 99 Magnum Pre and a much larger power supply. There is a tremendous difference in dynamics between Perseus and the Magnum. Also a much smoother, natural presentation; I found my Perseus had a bit too much of a SS sound.
$525 seems like a lot for the upgrade, but it will bring your system to a much higher level.
Also tube rolling on the Perseus is very effective. I would recommend not using Rogue's stock tubes.
