I thought he was good in Velvet Revolver playing the role of the "lizard king". Unfortunately, with his history of abuse, his tragic death was not a complete surprise.
Saw STP in 7th St Entry in early 90s before they blew up. One of my top 10 shows all time. His first solo recording 12 bar blues is criminally underrated.
