The Verastarr interconnects and video cables are very well made. I like the high quality and professional look. It seems like everything Verastarr makes has a high quality look and feel to it. Also let me say that the silver signatures work very well between my cd/dvd player and preamp, preamp to amp and so on. I move the cables around my system and other systems in town. Again and again the cables just got out of the way of the music and sounded clean sharp and detail through out the day.

Day 1:

The BASS was tight, deep and fast. The bass reminded me of the SSA-28 amplifier, punchy with clean low level resolution. Control was also good not fat sounding like other cables. Most cable sound slow in the low-end.

The MIDREANGE also was clean sharp and detail neither warm nor lean just natural sounding. The signatures just let the music flow and got out of the way. As hard as I tried I could not find anything wrong with them. If the midrange is not right then nothing is right. Verastarr got it right.

The TOP-END here again was clean and balanced with the bass and the mid’s. Most cables are a little over the top and sound hot. The detail and top-end air was pretty nice to hear on this cable. Here again I could not find nothing wrong in this department. Sound staging and transparency was excellent across the board nothing negative to write about.

Next up is the Silver Reference HDMI Video Cable. Well right out of the box the cable looks a little fuzzy next to my Better Cable HDMI cable. So I let it cook for a couple of weeks and things started to open up some and look cleaner. The HDMI cable has a rich look to it with all the details. Watching HD Net in high def was awesome looking. You see all the flesh tons on the faces. Here again the word is balanced. All the reds, blues and greens had a good balanced look to it. Blacks are deep with good contrast like they should be. Also next to my better cables the pictures were nice and bright. Here again I could not find anything wrong, the Verastarr cables just got out of the way and let the audio and video signals flow.

Conclusion:

Pros: Great quality with good audio and video performance.

Cons: A little pricey
