The Niagara power units are the best I've heard to date and that includes some of the exotics. You have no loss of dynamics. It's the first one I've heard that I can say that about. Some claim to not change dynamics, but the ones I've had in all have.
Will you do an individual copper rod ground for each run? I've found that made a big difference for me. As for cords, they still make a big difference. If you don't/can't spend that, the next one down in the lineup is darn good and also makes a difference. Heck, I LOVE the Thunder also. I'd personally put one on the Source you use the most adn go from there. Then the Preamp (you also should have one on the Niagara (if you have one). Borrow a few from your dealer and check them out. I have only a few components, so it made sense for me.
