Anyone have a chance to compare these new Revel speakers to the old M20? I talked to one dealer about the differences, but I would love to hear from audiogoners before I make the plunge, since I can't listen before I buy. Amplifier will be the Musical Fidelity A308. Thanks.
I just sold my B&W 804's so I could own these speakers. Yes, they are that good. Compared to the M20's they have more bass extension and none of the brightness. What a great speaker!!!
On my comparison, the tweeter of the M22s is too rolled-off and the neutral transparency of the M20 is lost at the top end; the M22s didn't lose "brightness" so much as compromise the range. I bought a used M20 over the new M22.
