Removing Spectral DMC 20 Phono stage

Does anyone have experience with removing the phono stage from a Spectral DMC 20? I need to send it in for repair but don't want to send in the whole preamplifier. I removed the 4 hex screws, but it remains pretty firmly in place. I'm not sure if it just lifts up or has some other connections that need to be undone. Thanks
