This is my favorite rem record.  Surprisingly, I find the IRS sterling version more to my liking.  Sounds more alive to my ears.  That's not to say that Japanese sony/cbs version does not sound good because it does.  Many say they are bright and lack bass.  This one does not lack bass.  The highs seem a little more forward and the sterling is more laid back in presentation.  It is more alive and real sounding to me so the sterling press is my choice.
