Both are nice units on the price range. I find the Burson more natural sounding, but why not do an A/B test with your friend and see the difference?
Rega vs Burson Dac
I've recently been listening to the Burson 160D headphone amp and dac. I'm amazed at it's price performance ratio, and while it's a great headphone amp, the dac is also very impressive. Has anyone heard both the Burson and the new Rega dac? A trusted friend believes the Rega is the best in it's price range, and while I have no doubt that it's good, I'd be curious to get comments from someone who has actually compared it with the Burson.
