I have an older (15 years) Rega Planar 3 w/ a RB300 tonearm. It still sounds great, but I was curious about what changes rega may have incorporated into the "new" P3? I suppose the motor and interconnect cabling in my P3 are the areas that I would suspect could benefit from an upgrade if Rega even offered one. Anybody thought about this? Anybody have a clue? Thanks in advance.
Rega does have a new motor they offer in the newer P3. It is available as an upgrade for older Planar 3, ~$150. I have been considering it myself. Cheers,
