I asked a similar question on the Golden Tube mailing list the other day. I was curious about golden dragon 6sn7 tubes. I had two responses, the first guy really liked golden dragon tubes. The second guy didn't like them. He said that golden dragon uses chinese tubes. All golden dragon does is test/grade and match the tubes.
