Recommended dealer for widely distributed stuff

Hi. I'm looking at picking up some Bluesound and RME gear-- nothing too expensive -- and I'm noticing that these two brands have pretty wide distribution but no one who is particularly local to me sells them.

I suppose I have half a lifetime of purchases like this ahead of me, so in general is there a dealer or a set of dealers who tend to have good service and relatively liberal return policies that people here tend to use? Bonus points for a small business where the proprietor is a decent human being.
