Rechargeable battery power supplies

I am having some possible ground/hum issues with my turntable. I have always wondered about using a portable battery supply in my system, something like a duracell power back 600hd. Charging the unit and running off the battery not connected to my wall AC.

Anyone have any experince, good or bad using this or something similar?
