Realworld experience: Edge NL-12 or Hovland Radia

Beyond the positive reviews (Stereophile, HiFi+ etc) on the Edge NL-12 or Hovland Radia amps (if you can believe any review ?), does anyone have any realworld experience with either the Edge NL-12 or Hovland Radia that they can share ? As well, does anyone have experience using these amps with the emm labs transport/DCC2 direct ?
