Ray Samuels phono stage vs. Nagra BPS phono.

I am looking at battery powered phono amps for my Nottingham Ace Space turntable. I have read several articles which only confuse me more.So I'm asking my fellow Audiogoners the question. Has anyone compared battery powered phono amps and what did you think of the sound? Does the Ray Samuel's sound as good as the Nagra? Are there other battery powdered phono amps I should research? I have heard the Nova and it was a bit dry. I like a warm sound and I want to hear the cymbals too.
