fwiw,rives claims the analog meter is slightly more accurate than digital.i believe you should use the calibrated[for this meter] tones.
Radioshack Digital vs Analog spl meter
Hi, I recently purchased the Rives test cd which has normal as well as compensated tones for the inaccurate yet repeatable behavior of the Radioshack analog spl meter. Does anyone know if the Radioshack digital spl meter also exhibits this same behavior? In other words, should I be using the normal or compensated test tones?
