QuickSilver Silver v.s. QuickSilver Gold

Has anyone used the QuickSilver Silver and stepped up to the QuickSilver Gold? I want to know if the sound/video differnce between the Silver and the Gold warrants the double the price for the Gold? Is the sound/video that much better with the Gold? Any help would be appreciated. I have yet to purchase either one.
