Question about streaming through my MAC
I have a Qobuz subscription and of course they have 24/196 content. I stream from the Qobuz app out via USB to my Wadia 321 which will process up to 32/196.
I was just reading about the MAC midi app. So I went in a sure enough this thing was configured for a lower bit rate than Qobuz. like standard 16/96.
My question is if I leave the Midi app alone (default) does the Qobuz output go out at its configured setting and the Midi App is not involved? Or is the Midi settings always doing something with my USB out stream?
Update,I have been fiddling with things a bit. Regardless of what Qobuz is streaming my DACs display corresponds to the Midi app setting. So is it up sampling?
