Guys, after extensive break-in...and yes, it was really "wonky" along the way and it took way longer than I thought it would for a "simple" fuse...but I have gone ahead and kept the "red" fuse for my Sorcer x4. I would say the break in was ~30 days? Not exact on this one, sorry. I did hold off on my assessment because the break in was again, wonky - bright, dark, etc...and kind of fluctuated...took a while to really settle in.

Basically, I hear more air, bigger soundstage, more depth for sure, more detail, but also more relaxed at the same time - more musical. Interestingly, some of my recordings are "more" listenable, more musical. They were good before, but now are more enjoyable.

I did not use any paste as I wanted to "hear" the fuse and the fuse alone...I may experiment with paste later on, but I like what I am hearing now.

Based on this I would recommend a demo and let your ears and wallet decide.
I would ask Mike at Tweek Geek for his recommendation. But would try and stay in the same ballpark as the mfr.

I  am really enjoying the musicality of my system with the fuse. So, again, try one and let your ears (and wallet) decide.

Why doesn't the moderator stop George on this thread? He's made his point (a dozen times I might add). Perhaps a permanent block is in order.
Yes, I found that the midrange is a "little" laid back - my soundstage moved further back -  - and on some pieces the leading edge seems further in the soundstage - so, I suspect some tradeoff...that's why my audition took so long. Overall, I liked what the fuse did, but I don't think you are wrong on what you are hearing. On most music, I preferred what it did musically, more air space, bigger soundstage, while smoother and better dynamics. There was also a little more meat on the bones for instruments and vocals with the QSA fuse. But these could be perceived as reduction in the leading edge, perhaps? It is a system balancing act. I also got more "clarity" -
