Qualio IQ owners, still happy?

I'd like to hear from current or former owners of these speakers. Also anyone who has had an audition of them. What do you think? These are on my radar.

I'm considering buying the Ultras before an announced price increase takes effect, but I haven't had the opportunity to listen to them as of yet which is making me uncomfortable.

I'm hoping for an update from any members with experience with either the Ultras or the IQ's

I have the standard Qualio IQ and love them but can tell you that it's going to take 2-3 months for them to open up and show their full potential.

These speakers have a beautiful midrange with a soundstage you can walk into with life-like images, tight clean fast bass and transparent without any brightness or harshness.

Have mines paired up with 300b 20 Watts Class A monoblocks with Zero NFB and Soulnote A2 200 Watts Integrated amp and using my Radu Tarta 4P1L tube preamplifier with outstanding sound quality with both amplifiers...

The Qualio's disappears in my room and best by a good margin my Avalons, Acoustic Zen Crescendo's, and my sleeper speakers, Liberty Audio X-VOX.

My speakers are 4 feet from the front wall and you really need some absorption behind the speakers to hear their full potential of immersive holographic sound.

Still loving mines 🎶🎵

Wow 2-3 months for break-in at my age? :)

I do have to admit I'm very conflicted on this because of complications with swapping out my main speakers. Several issues involved to deal with. It sure was a simpler process all the way around 50 years ago if memory serves.

Thanks very much Wig for your impressions, I find it helpful.

Be safe,

At that time I was using my 300b monoblocks but you'll hear a big difference after 400+ hours 😁

I have the regular Qualio's too. Almost a year. really like them.

One clarification: what do you mean by "absorption behind the speakers"?
