Quad 57 's and 63's run together

Everyone told me that to run these two speakers together would not sound good. I tried it and like it. I get the best of what the 63 does and the best of what the 57's do. My 63's sit ontop of the Gradient woofers a few feet behind the 57's. I am not running the Gradients but, I am running a pair of Transmission Line woofers that sit beside the 63's. If any one else has heard a similar set up I would like to hear your thoughts on it.
