Pure solid silver wire

Hi,

I am looking to buy Pure solid silver wire for wiring a power strip.  Anyone here have recommendations on were to purchase?

  Thanks,

agreed, silver is not a good option for anything, in my opinion.  That being said, if you are looking for internal wiring (inside the power strip) to connect the actual outlets, Tempo Electric sells solid-core silver wire even at 12awg and 10awg sizes:

If you are looking for a power cord, there are probably a few out there.  A couple I do know about are Wire World Platinum Electra and Purist Audio Design Diamond Limited Edition.
Rio Grande .999 dead soft annealed silver round or flat wire sounds great.  Bundle 20awg strands as needed to make your total gauge. Commodity prices; order on-line.
I have bought 9999 silver 10-18 ga from sellers on eBay. Just do a search.

Is this a home brew power strip you’re making? If so just stick with copper and buy better receptacles as I suspect that will make a bigger difference and not burn your house down. I’d suggest send a email off to Chris at VH Audio for starters... serious on that part.
