Protect cork floors from speaker stand spikes

They are not cheap, when I bought them around four years ago, they were around $16 EACH. Here is a link to sound anchor. I see that the price has stayed the same. (The design seems to have changed slightly.) http://www.soundanchors.com/page20.html

There are any number of "cone coaster" type protectors, but I would recommend trying Herbies big fat dots - either directly under the stands without the spikes (for very little risk to the floor if the stands are bumped), or under the cone coasters below the spikes (which may be a bit harder to set up).
