I have heard that the AVS was a troublesome unit and Krell has been replaced by a better, cheaper, and more reliable unit.

I now use a Proceed AVP-S but was thinking of Upgrading??
I have been thinking about a Krell AVS and i am wondering if anyone here has A/B them against one another, My main reason not only to enhance 2 channel, but to add DTS decoding which the Proceed does not have, i believe the Krell also has more than one Toslink/optical input, the Proceed only has one, as i need it for Dishnet and DVD surround decoding.
Any thoughts?
