Pro-Ject Stream Box s2 Ultra - Network Change HELP!

I have generally been satisfied by my Stream Box for the past few years - until today, when I have been embarrassingly stymied by the simplest of changes to its settings.

The gist of the issue is that I changed routers and now cannot figure out how to change the Stream Box's network settings to connect to the newly established WiFi network.

The old network the streamer was connecting to no longer exists, yet when I power the Pro-Ject on it boots up as if nothing has changed, giving me two blue lights, indicating that it is connected... to some network, I suppose, although I have no idea which one. I cannot access any of its control pages whether through the mobile app, or the IP address via desktop.   It will not broadcast its own network for me to connect to and configure it, which is what happens when you first set it up.

Honestly, I am a bit beside myself that this device can make something so simple as a network change so unnecessarily complicated, and the manual is less than useless.

Does anyone out there have any advice as to what I might try to configure this streamer to connect to the new network?  Thank you in advance!

It's the official reset. A reset function on the device would be nice but not needed much.

@zm Home networking continues to become more complex. It's generally a good idea to keep the same SSID and Wifi password for the new router so that, if you have 50 devices or so on your network, you don't have to manually connect them all to the new router. It can be difficult enough to setup the new router hardware. By reusing the same SSID and Wifi password on the new router, all your devices should automatically log into the new router.

I upgraded my router within the last couple weeks, and I had to hard reset one of my smart displays because nothing else worked.

@classdstreamer Wise advice, and I hope anyone with these issues who stumbles across this thread heeds it!  I wish I had!

And for the record, problem solved after following the procedure @fuzztone helpfully laid out - after having to purchase both a USB thumb drive and a damn USB-C adapter to format it on my MacBook!  Thanks Pro-Ject!  😑

i tried the streambox (and also a volumio primo streamer) early on in my streaming travels, i could not get it to work, it was so frustrating, i returned them both within a couple days

+1 on connecting a monitor via the HDMI output and a mouse via the USB input. Here's instructions on doing so:

The cool thing is that the advanced Raspberry Pi processor inside is a fully-fledged computer, so it’s completely updatable and accessible with a mouse, keyboard, and an external monitor or a touch screen. Using the HDMI port and one of the USB ports included on the back of the unit, we were able to access the system settings and restore it back to factory default settings using a TV monitor and a USB mouse. Problem solved.
