Pro-Ject Carbon DC Mat? Platter? Stylus?

I have a Carbon DC and am looking to upgrade the mat or platter.

Here in canada i can get the Acryl-It platter for $137 taxes in. Or i can get a herbies way excellent mat for $100 shipped. Or a Cork-It mat for $28 taxes in.

Any suggestions? Also I can get a 2m Blue Stylus for $170 taxes in. should I do the stylus too or stick with the 2m red?

I ordered the platter and stylus, the dealer was nice enough to say that if i didnt see enough difference with the platter that he would let me return it since it was a stock item.

thanks everyone, I think I am going to order both, and try the platter first like you said noromance . One more question, should I get a pair of BlueJeans interconnects or stick with stock? I can get a pair for $52 on amazon
