Preamp upgrade over Ayre Codex
Hello Everyone,
I am currently using a Arye Codex as my Preamp/DAC straight into my amp. It sounds good and was wondering how much inprovment adding a preamp would make? Thinking about a tube preamp that is balanced, as the Codex sounds better balanced.
So the question is how good of a preamp would it take to make a big difference?
