Pre/Pro Units with USB Inputs? And Coax vs. USB?

uhm a coax can transmit up to 24bit, 192kHz PCM so unless you're listening to some left field sample rate. you're all good. Yes USB can transmit more data so higher sample rates than 192kHz(which is useless for playback imo as even most studios record in maximum 192kHz) all the way to DSD is more viable with USB @nankaroad 

FWIT , I changed streamers and got out some old cables to try. I had a 5 year old Morrow Digi 4 and tried it. I had transfer problems with the sound intermittently cutting out. I reduced the streamer output  rate to 96 and the issue stopped. I contacted Morrow and they had me pull back the sleeve and describe the build. They stated it was an old design and offered a discount on a newer version. I eventually went with a Wireworld Starlight Platinum USB. But I tend to agree with the share above , however I still can’t explain my cable and didn’t feel I revived a satisfactory answer from the manufacturer. I subbed in a couple other coax cables but they were low quality so it wasn’t a fair comparison. Cheers , Mike .
