I used the Pass Aleph P, which was a very good unit, but I perfer the sound of a tube preamp. The Herron line-stage preamp is a wonderful match with my Pass monoblocks.
Meitner PA-6i with upgrage could be a great preamp. Remote control & phono input (moving coil) could do a great job. You may find some info on this site. Good luck Normand Hurtubise
