Pre-amp choice: Conrad Johnson PV-14LSE2 or Hegel P-20 or Dehaviland Verve 3??

I have am looking to buy one of above 3 pre-amps to match up with a BAT VK-200 amp

 All have remotes, but no phono stage. I need feedback as to what might be the best match for my amp in terms of impedance compatibility, and most importantly excellent sound quality without glaring, edgy highs   or boomy bass

All are used;, and the Dehaviland  is the most expensive followed by the Hegel P-20, and CJ 14LSE

The Hegel P-20 pre-amp is solid state.

For the record, CJ claims the 14L "SE" upgrade significantly improves the original  PV-14L pre-amp's sound quality   But that could just be BS and manufacturer hype.   Thank you
