Power conditioner or not?

I am confused! Per Naim's recommendations, no power conditioner needed. I have a Naim system, what do you think?

It was great, blacker backgrounds, lowered the noise floor. I then got a Naim Supernait. Same affect on the background, but robbed the music of the dynamics or what Naim is known for: PRaT. I then accepted Naim's advice, sold the Duet and kept the Duet for the HT. I trust that helps!
