Please Make Audiogon Cool

I think that there are a lot of experienced and interesting people on this site. Some in retail, some in manufacturing, and probably some really cool artists, scientists and engineers of all sorts of backgrounds.

I want to encourage those of you with something to say, a point of view, a helpful idea to post.

Without this type of interaction, Audiogon becomes just a shopping support group. If you care about the Audiogon community and would like to see it go in a particular direction, then please contribute in the way you feel most comfortable and engaging.

Thanks!

clearthink,

There is a possibility that noble100 also lives in Australia.
"The future belongs to the polymath"
If teenage behavior is anything to go by, future belongs to Instagram.
"I think we should take it easy on georgehifi."

"Love you George..."
It is a loving thread, indeed. From the very start.
georgehifi,

Even if it is many many, we have to start with someone so why not you?

So what is it that makes you so angry, or whatever word would fit better, on this thread?

What is preventing you from simply not following/reading any of the erik_squires' threads? Ulterior motif of some sort?

Seriously, give man a break. He is not your type so stop following him. Think of him whatever you want but do not incite these abusive discussions here.
georgehifi,

"...I think the OP should be banned from starting any more threads, as they are nearly all BS related or have ulterior motives behind them."
A glance over erik_squires’ threads will reveal that he must be a person of broad ulterior motives. Topics range from specific speaker material to making audiogon cool.

"Nearly all seem to incite the worst abusive discussions among many members here..."
What is the reason? Could you tell us why this particular thread incited such a strong and, may I say, aggressive reaction from you?

It does not seem that anyone else took it so seriously. In fact, it seems like a very light and mostly friendly thread.
Hmmm, maybe, in the spirit of many responses here, we should thank everyone who opted not to participate.

Otherwise, erik_squires' first response is running for the "audiogon best post of 2019".
