I appreciate all the input. I just don’t feel comfortable
using plastic under my equipment to support 50+ lbs. I don’t want it to crack
and result in damage to something. I’m not saying it will crack immediately,
but eventually. Maybe it’s paranoia or conditioning that expects plastic to
crack. Guess it’s also exposure to inferior products from China. I’m
going to ask that they allow me to exchange this plastic/acrylic version for
the aluminum ones that I have had success with. If not, I will give or throw
these away. There’s no doubt it’s partially my mistake for not looking close
enough, but the top the listing says Nobsound, so I thought I was getting the
same aluminum ones. Nowhere on the box or product does it says Nobsound, I feel
deceived.
