Placette pre amps

Marko445, can I get your email, when I enter your user name at the member lookup it comes up as an invalid name. I also have the SCD-777ES and am going passive with the EVS Attenuators into the Bel Canto EVo amp. What interconnects are you using? Do you use 2 interconnects in this config.? Did you ever try the EVS Attenuator? What was your system config before trying the Placette? Thanks mikeg.

I'm currently using the Placette remote volume control, only one input and no active stages, instead of a preamp. It is the best my system has ever sounded. Sony scd-777,Bel Canto Dac-1,Sim Audio w-3, Magnaplaner 1.6
