Pioneer spec system connection

Hello everyone 

I’m getting confused on how to connect 8 pioneer components together. 
Spec 1, Spec 2, sg 9500, tx9500, rt-707, ct-f900, sr 303, rg-1. I read manuals on line but each manual is requesting same plugging into Tape (play/Record). Their ain’t enough tape (play/Record) behind spec 1 to allow that. I inherited this set. I’m just an average audiophile with little experience. Thank you understanding my ignorance. Thank you in adavance to anyone sending me a thought. Highly appreciated
