Pioneer Sa-9500II Lamp Replacement
This 9500II has been old reliable for some time now.
The power-on lamp has gone out.
I opened it up to take a look at lamp location and found the lamp atop the power-on toggle, somewhat restricted by chassis frame.
The lamps leads are clearly visible, but the lamp assembly seems to be firmly positioned within the switch enclosure.
Should I use long-nose pliers to pull at the base of the leads to pull the lamp assembly out?
The replacement lamp costs about $13.00 and would be quite a savings compared to paying a repair shop to replace a lamp.
I am still okay with light soldering, not too age-shakey, but I can no longer dis-assemble circuit boards, chassis etc. and remember how to get them back correctly.
Has anyone done this before?
Any recommendations?
Many thanks
