The S9000 is the no-brainer winner here. Superior transport yields superior detail, and the upgrade path to an external upsampling DAC is there( for CD read only as the digital out on SACD are non-existent as for most SACD players) with an almost cost-no-object sound quality. Better built too. Simply an awesome bargain.
