My first speaker purchase was a pair of JBL 4301B monitors which I purchased new from an audio retailer for $235.

Fifteen years later, I obtained a pair of Dahlquist DQ10s which I bought at auction for $299. They needed extensive refurbishment but sounded great.

Currently running a pair of factory rebuilt Magneplanar SMGs which I purchased at auction for $275
