OK, so here is a thread I haven't ever seen here: What speakers have you owned? starting with the earliest, price paid, new/used, and perhaps the models that really impressed you (for the price) in CAPS.

Since that time, I have added a few others and I am thoroughly enjoying my "journey". Thanks to AudiogoN, it is possible to "try" a wide variety of fine audio products at very nominal cost - usually no more than shipping costs - .

I have settled on two of the speakers listed above. I've tried to find something that I like better, but seem to go back to the two following:

System 2 - VERITY PARSIFAL ENCORE

I have tried a number of speakers in the almost 50 years of my pursuit of the high end . . . . I have listed my speakers on a couple of previous occasions in this thread, but as the quest goes on, here is an update.

Currently, I'm llistening to the wonderful Avalon Eidolons in my first system and the Sonus Faber Guarneri Mementos in the second. Couldn't be happier!

Perhaps I'll stop looking.
