I just ordered 1 mat and wondering where did you find the mat most and least effective? I contacted Oregonpapa and he recommended the power panel.

@t_ramey Good point concerning the power conditioner since everything is plugged into it.

It's time we stop this bickering and get back to the subject of opinions and comments related to using this mat.

I normally don't take sides but I do understand most points of your reactions. First I would like to say Tim is a wonderful guy if you ever spoke to him.  He's very passionate concerning his products as most of us would be also. He's helped me understand their uses and made recommendations that improved my system greatly He's just a phone call or email away and more than glad to help.

 Looking from his perspective, there have been many negative comments from non users for both of his products since the beginning of these threads. Maybe he over reacted but we are only human. 

Let's start anew and get back to consulting each other to better our hobby.

How did your system sound after removing the mat? 

@ozzy Sorry I must have missed your post from 7/26. I believe what you heard by reintroducing the mat was hearing more into the music. TC initially lowered the noise floor which increased the macro and micro-dynamics along with the soundstage. The mats increased those features even further at least in my system. I was just listening to Diana Krall and her voice was much more distinct, clearer and as if she was in my room! The sound of the instruments are more focused and positioned. The soundstage now appears to envelope my room as if I still had my surround system. 

I have a question for those with several mats. Has anyone experimented which components or which combination of components sound best with the mats? I have 3 mats and initially decided to place 1 on the power conditioner since all my components are plugged into it. (I didn't place a mat on my circuit breaker box but applied TC to the inside of the door instead).  The other 2 mats were placed on the music server and the dac but not the tube integrated amp. I could experiment switching or stacking the mats but that could take several weeks since it takes about 2 weeks for the mats to reach their full potential with each component. Any recommendations?

Welcome aboard the Perfect Path train! 

Glad you can join us on this interesting journey. Tim's products has placed our hifi systems on a higher plane no one could ever expect or experience. As an added bonus, our entire electrical system has benefited also. Most of us never had any contact with Tim or his products until Frank opened the door. I was a bit skeptical at first but I'm so glad I jumped in.
