Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat

I’m curious about this product from Perfect Path Technologies and would like to hear from those that have experience with it. I’ve bought and used the Total Contact enhancer and like what it does for my system so I’m interested in hearing how this Omega E mat performs.

Uber, how did you buy two? I only see packs of 5 unfortunately.  Glad they seem to work nicely.
I am looking to purchase two of the e-cards. Is anybody interested in selling me two or splitting the cost of a kit? Just contact me through Agon if interested.
Seems they are good for many things including cell phones. I think they will be marketed to use on cell phones also.  I want them in my small LPSs and speaker crossover compartments.
@uberwaltz.  Please update me again and others as to where you put the cards and what they did for your rig.  Thanks.
An Ecard on the Walkman would do wonders.  Geoff must try it!
I have a set of 5 on the way.
Correct Uber.

- one in my Ifi USB 3 reclocker/filter along with TC paste
- one in each speaker crossover along with TC paste
- one on the back of each speaker driver along with TC paste.

Yes, I will need a couple of more and will do so!
Very strange reality of looking at these simple and benign looking cards, mats and tiny tube of paste and experiencing what they do.  Sort of messes with my mind and sense of reason.
Those of us that stream and utilize computer based audio will find these Ecards wonderful. Place them near critical areas like usb filters or reclockers. Near the outputs of your streamer no matter the type of interface used. If you use LPSs to power your clocks, filters, computers, servers etc...., then place an Ecard in each of these power supplies. If you have a special Pink Faun, SOTM or other sound card, then place the Ecard near it.

Point of clarification. These can just be placed on top of the unit as there is no need to place them inside the gear. The card’s back is conductive so if one decides to place these inside gear, then proper care must be taken to avoid any possibility of the card causing an unintended short. I was able to place them inside my gear as I have lots of experience inside electronics.
Well well, I have to share my recent experience. I know folks will think my comments are hyperbolic and I don’t blame them as I would think the same thing. It has been a long time since I have been this impassioned, at this level, with any new audio product or tweak. I will be direct here and not hold back what I am thinking and experiencing.

First, I have had one Emat in my system for some 6-8 weeks. I forget exactly how long. I have also TC pasted just about all I can safely in my rig.

Well I placed Ecards in the following positions. One .....

- in my Ifi USB 3 filter/reclocker
- in my linear power supply for the above Ifi unit
- in my linear power supply for my SOTM USB card
- in my CPT conditioner

The results are astounding. Why every single audio manufacturer does not put these in their units is beyond me. This is an absolute game changing technology that easily trumps every other tweak and modification I have executed over the past three decades.

How can I put it even more directly? Every single Aphile who really wants an emersive listening experience must, I repeat, must do the following. Purchase one TC paste kit. Purchase one 5 Ecard set. Read the thread and place where others have shared you get a Big Bang impact. This is how to begin. Sure at least one mat will follow. Now enjoy your CURRENT system like never before without needing to really do anything else.

Yup, I am excited and know of no other tweak or equipment upgrade that goes to this level of sound quality improvement. None, regardless of cost. No amp or dac upgrade will reach this level of improvement.

Is is possible a person or two will not realize this same experience? I suppose it is. However, for the other 95% enjoy!

I have two Ecards left and they will go into my TC paste treated speaker crossover networks.

I know Frank and others here keep on sharing their utter excitement and joy with these products and what they have accomplished in his system. I can tell you fellow Agoners they are not exaggerating one little bit.

I am thinking about individuals that spill over with integrity and audio wisdom born out of experience such as Jim Smith, Albert Porter, @almarg , @charles1dad, Doug Schroeder and so many others. Not sure why they are not using these PP products?

All these Perfect Path products represent honest to goodness disruptive level innovations delivering a level of sound quality improvement not previously attainable with any other individual tweak or system upgrade. That revolutionary in my humble opinion. Scratching my head as to why individuals such as these, as well as open minded builders, are not talking about these products?

Is it because it is utterly preposterous believing these benign looking mats, cards, and paste do indeed perform the way we owners know they do? I think so. That’s it really. Anyway, I have long enjoyed sharing about true gems and genuine stellar values in our hobby and these PP products top my all time list to date. Whatever the technology is within these products I can say with excitement that we Aphiles are in for an unprecedented ear opening season of innovation. This bus has left the station and we are now in that season with these products.
Unlike medical procedures and most everything else, you can actually return the mats or cards if they don’t delight you. So it’s the polar opposite of blind faith. You actually get to use it for weeks and hear or not hear what is does. No faith, empirical evidence. You are not blind or deaf to this at any point once it is in your rig. Time to buy based on your actual ability to test and hear for yourself.  An Aphile’s dream!
I placed a card in each of my speaker crossover compartments.  My speakers have  a nice compartment in the bottom of the speaker ..... not inside the bass cavity which is a great thing! It has been 3days and the results have been very good. More “at ease” sound that is boxless with the speakers disappearing to a great degree.

My next eCard set is going on the back of each driver near the voice coil and drivers connection tabs.
When are the flexible collars coming out to wrap around all manner of audio cords? Yes, this is a good idea 🙂
I had read earlier in this thread that the magnetic side to the component is best? Not label facing the component? Does it really matter and is one way really best?
Yes indeed.  To those open minded and intentionally curious they will find these to be the best tweaks ever offered in terms of improving sound quality. Nothing better.
I have also used the magnetic sheets as pointed out by sbayne. They work rather well for little money.  The mats, cards and contact paste all work well with them.  Great info sbayne!
Yes Uber. I have cards on my SOTM trifecta.  Two each! Love the results after a few days. These cards are great on linear power supplies for our digital front ends also.
Correct, I added the Audio Magic tweak and then removed it.  I have the 2170,  not the 3400.  I think the 2170 is all most would need and perhaps sounds a tad more organic and musical.
Without fanboy comments how do we learn about great new products here on the Gon? Early adopters are a must and reading about actual experiences is what this site is really for. As more folks try and like a given product I would expect the fanboy posts and numbers to swell. That is what we see on this thread. That is healthy and well...normal. It is one of the main reasons and uses of this forum.

This has been the case since this site started. What has changed, most unfortunately, is the ever growing group of negative and insulting posts that are based on nothing other than clever wit and a need to be noticed for unhealthy reasons.

Many wonderful and respectful posters have either left this site or post very infrequently desiring to avoid the emerging new reality here.
When the mat is on top of gear is the best positioning with the Perfect Path logo facing away or towards the top of the component? Does it matter? Thanks.
