PC VS CDP VS DVD Player.

Even though I enjoy using my computer as a source it's become more of a hassle than its worth. I've considered the squeezebox but don't know about its sound quality (anyone willing to comment). Another route I am considering is using either a cd player or dvd that can read cdr-sacd etc and just burn my music to cds and use it that way. Is this even plausible solution? Right now my set up is pretty much a pair of rainmakers with a nad c320bee.

My question is what's the benefits between a pc setup-cdp-setup and a dvd set-up. Thanks alot.
